Carol Ann Bridgman is joining our practice on May 1, 2023!
I offer individual, couples, and family therapy and use a client-centered approach while being both direct and sensitive to whatever concerns you have. I am trained in multiple therapeutic frameworks including Humanistic, Cognitive-Behavioral, Family Systems, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Attachment Theory. I use an integrative and individualized approach to address client issues based on current research and efficacy.
I specialize in working with adolescents and have extensive experience with the challenges and issues they face in their lives. I also have experience working with eating disorders and use an intuitive eating approach.
Throughout my almost 20 years of practice, I have worked with people with varying degrees of anxiety, mood disorders, addiction, and other mental health issues. I have also worked with people simply looking to make changes in their relationships, either with the people in their lives or within themselves. We will work together in overcoming hardships and loss to improve your quality of life and make positive changes. I know it takes courage and strength to start therapy so I aim to meet you wherever you are in your journey and focus on the changes you wish to make in this process.
