I have expertise in a broad range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationships, identity development, parenting, procrastination, and the varied challenges of conflict avoidance and people-pleasing. Often my work involves addressing the most basic, yet profound, issues of life — trust, self-acceptance, love, guilt and shame, loss, and resilience.
I’ve been in practice for over 30 years, addressing the needs of adults of all ages as well as newly-minted adults and teens. I use a variety of therapeutic perspectives including cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, interpersonal, and psychodynamic, tailoring my work to your needs as therapy is never “one size fits all.”
My aim is to help you feel comfortable in our work and less alone, and to have a clearer sense of your path forward. I offer a combination of focused listening and thoughtful direction – along with a touch of humor. Sometimes our work involves making peace with unresolvable situations and other times it means finding ways to make lasting changes. Either way, insight and growth on the issues that matter most to you, are always the goal.
