Perinatal OCD Psychoeducation Group

This group is four-week series designed to give an introduction to Perinatal OCD and treatment. Each week, group members and facilitator will discuss a different topic intended to give attendees a baseline understanding of what OCD is, symptoms associated with it, what exposure and response prevention is, how to respond to unwanted thoughts and compulsions, how to address family accommodation and relapse prevention.
During group sessions, members will be given opportunity to practice helpful strategies and will be provided resources and tools to use between sessions and once the group has concluded.
Group members are asked to secure a private and distraction-free setting in order to attend the group. Members will also be asked to turn on their cameras throughout the session. Please reach out at the email below with any additional questions!

Fee:
$200 for four group sessions. Sliding scale available if needed.

About the Facilitator
Abby Bugbee, Psy.D. is a licensed psychologist who specializes in treating anxiety, OCD, and Obsessive-Compulsive related disorders, which includes perinatal OCD.
Abby is warm and compassionate and values genuine, authentic connection with clients. This means not taking a one-size-fits-all approach and meeting people where they're at all while sprinkling in some humor. She values the connection and support that can come from group modalities, particularly for individuals experiencing life transitions such as motherhood. Abby also provides individual therapy.
